About the artist:
Emmanuel Cayere was born in Israel and raised in France, he moved to
Ny at 21 to follow a dream out of his parents footsteps in the culinary industry and experience as much of the human condition he possibly could.
Firstly passionate by photography he celebrated humans by his “Hands” photography project honoring those unique individuals who still create their living in a tactile way. “Hands” had exhibitions in the south of France and an NYC gallery in Chelsea.
Emmanuel has always been fascinated by the over use of plastic bags that are in turn creating plastic cultures and entrapping this modern societies ideas of importance and priorities.
After spending time exploring the use of resin and creating his own mix of paintings and light projects, he found he could explain a mixed up culture that uses bright colors and the art of over selling to a greater purpose being immortalized as art.
He has dedicated these last years producing these colorful paintings talking about the dark non-sense of our modern society.
